Rural communities can apply for provincial funding to help boost economic growth.
This is part of the province’s Rural Economic Development program, which will fund projects ranging from downtown revitalization plans to tourism-related marketing.
Every year, the province will invest $5-million into these projects.

In 2016, the Municipality of North Grenville got about $17,000 to hire a Business Retention and Expansion Attraction Coordinator.
