With concerts being cancelled, North Grenville Concert Choir’s Musical Director will be leading online workshops.
Musical Director Phillip Konopka came up with the creative way to keep everyone engaged and continue to develop musical skills and sing, according to a media release.
Konopka will be leading the online workshops where members will join in from their homes. There will be a variety of sessions offered, including listening to him play in order to learn the music for future performances, going through all parts at once and then sectional parts, and doing a few sessions of music theory to help with basic sight reading.
The choir says new members are always welcome. There will be approximately 8 to 10 hour-long sessions held every Monday starting on September 21st. For more info, contact [email protected] or call 613-258-1281.
