Pembroke dentist found guilty of impaired driving causing death

Pembroke dentist Christy Natsis has been found guilty of impaired driving causing death. The case had been delayed several times since 2012 due to claims that OPP crash investigators’ work was unreliable.

Natsis admits she hit a car in the parking lot of the Crazy Horse Saloon in Kanata in March 2011. Twenty-four minutes later she was involved in the fatal crash on Highway 17 near Arnprior that took the life of 50-year-old Bryan Casey.

She will be sentenced at a later date.
