North Augusta residents are being asked to keep an upcoming planned power outage in mind.
Hydro One says the power will be shut off this coming Sunday between 8 a.m. and noon for planned maintenance.
They say affected customers have been notified directly and, to help prepare for it, residents are encouraged to consider the following including ensuring appliances, such as stoves and ovens, are turned off.
You should also fully charge cell phones and other essential devices in advance and use a battery-powered alarm clock or mobile device to avoid missed alarms.
You’re also being reminded to keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible and use a cooler with ice for items needed during the outage.
If your water service may be affected, you should fill containers with drinking and cooking water ahead of time.
