Kemptville music school named greatest entrepreneur

A music school offering piano and instrument lessons for all ages is the greatest entrepreneur in our region.

The inaugural Leeds Grenville’s Greatest Entrepreneur Competition has officially wrapped up and organizers say it celebrated innovation, determination, and the entrepreneurial spirit thriving across the area.

Presented by 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation and Community Futures Grenville, the competition attracted 26 applications from across Leeds and Grenville.

The grand prize winner for the CF Grenville Service Area is the Tempo Drive Music Studio from Kemptville which says it will use the competition to support their move from a home studio to a commercial space, quadrupling capacity and creating a hub for music learning and workshops.

The studio received $10,000 in cash along with over $10,000 in in-kind business services to help accelerate their growth.
