73’s Wrap: Kemptville heading into busy last week before the holiday break

The Kemptville 73’s have earned points in seven straight games as they enter the final week before the holiday break.

Friday night saw the 73’s come back from being down 4-1 in the third period to the Cornwall Colts to force overtime and then a shootout.

Kemptville would ultimately end up falling 5-4 but 73’s forward Alexis Beaulieu was named first star after picking up four points, three goals and one assist.

The 73’s are fourth in the Central Canada Hockey League with a record of 30GP-17W-11L-1 Overtime Loss-1 Shootout Loss for 36 points.

There are three games left for Kemptville ahead of the holiday break, starting Wednesday night in Carleton Place.

Kemptville then takes on both Pembroke and Cornwall at this weekend’s CCHL Holiday Showcase in Rockland.
