73’s Wrap: Winners of five straight, the Kemptville 73’s look to keep the momentum going

The Kemptville 73’s have a few days off after securing their fifth straight win.

Over the weekend, Kemptville took on the Renfrew Wolves at home on Friday night and skated away with an 8-2 victory.

Highlights included two goals from defenceman Case Hennessy and forward Jacob Kulas scoring his first in his first game with Kemptville.

That victory was followed up by another on Sunday afternoon at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, 4-1 over the Brockville Braves.

Hennessy picked up another goal in the win as did Anthony D’Arienzo who potted the winner while the team was shorthanded.

Earlier in the week, Kemptville beat Nepean 6-5 on the road on Wednesday night.

The 73’s record now sits at 12GP-7W-4L-1 Overtime Loss for 15 points and first in the Central Canada Hockey League’s Robinson Division.

Kemptville’s next game is on Friday night when the Carleton Place Canadians visit for the first time this season.
