Burnbrae Farms’ Joe Hudson passes away: Steve Clark, Michael Barrett offer condolences

Local figures are offering their condolences as the Hudson family mourns the founder of Burnbrae Farms.

Joe Hudson, who founded the food manufacturing company more than eighty years ago, passed away this week.

Hudson’s company has gone on to become one of the largest suppliers of eggs and egg products in Canada, with more than 2,000 employees, including 400 in our region.

He’s received several honours over the years, including the 2023 Bill Thake Memorial Award for Economic Development Leadership.
