Nation Valley ATV Club celebrates successful second Food Drive

More than $14,000 will go towards putting food on the table for struggling local families thanks to the Nation Valley ATV Club.

The organization’s second annual Food Drive for Community Food Share was held on March 2nd.

On top of the $14,643 brought in by donors and sponsors, organizers also say 175 pounds of food was collected at the event.

“This event went as smoothly as we could have hoped with the weather conditions, and our second kick at an event supporting the Community Food Share,” says event co-chair Gerard Savoie. “Our community businesses and sponsors came out in spades to support this event for such a worthy cause.”

The money is being divided between North Dundas, South Dundas and South Stormont.

Savoie says he looks forward to surpassing this year’s total at the club’s next food drive in 2025.
