Residents are being invited to the North Grenville Municipal Centre to help local students raise money for their prom.
The graduating classes from both North Grenville District High School and St. Michael Catholic High School are hosting a hockey game together.
“It kind of brings the town together, brings the community together, and everyone just gets competitive, and we have a big hockey game,” explains Logan Brown, one of the students organizing the event.
Brown says planning has brought the student bodies from the two schools together.
“Everyone’s super pumped for the game, so everyone’s just helping out where they can,” she says. “It’s a lot to plan sometimes, when you have to get the ice, you have to be able to make sure everything’s good with all the teams, but overall, it’s just good.”
The game is happening at the Municipal Centre Friday night, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
