Local volunteer with KDH, Beth Donovan Hospice wins Ontario Senior Achievement Award

MPP Steve Clark is congratulating a local volunteer for being recognized by the provincial government.

Linda Carnegie is one of twenty recipients of this year’s Ontario Senior Achievement Awards, celebrating the work and contributions of people ages 65 and older.

Carnegie has worked with the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary, including three years as its President, as well as serving on the board of Directors for Beth Donovan Hospice.

She also volunteers at Holy Cross Catholic School.

MPP Steve Clark says he’s extremely proud to see her recognized for her work in the community.

“Thank you, Linda, for your tireless efforts and for demonstrating how seniors are making our communities better places for everyone to call home,” he adds.

We’ve reached out to Carnegie for comment.
