Some Kemptville (Prescott) residents will be able to get help with their taxes soon.
The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau is preparing to launch its annual “Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.”
The initiative lets individuals who make $35,000 or less annually, and couples that make a combined total of $45,000 or less, get free help filing their income taxes.
The initiative officially starts on March 1st and runs until May 1st.

In Kemptville, you’ll be able to drop off your tax forms at the CSE Consulting office on Prescott Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
You’ll also be able to file over the phone by calling CSE Consulting’s Brockville office.
