Kemptville Winter Carnival: volunteers and young hockey players needed

Kemptville Winter Carnival organizers are looking for people to help run the event and youths who want to play some hockey.

Volunteers are being recruited to help with setup and teardown for the carnival, run an information booth for attendees, direct traffic and coordinate parking, and more.

Organizers also need young hockey players ages 12 to 16 who can play on Saturday, February 10th from 11:00 AM to noon.

The youth team will go up against members of the Grenville County OPP detachment, the North Grenville Fire Service and Leeds-Grenville Paramedics.

Both male and female players can apply, and they don’t need to currently play in any hockey leagues, although players will need to have their own equipment.

If you want to volunteer or send an application for your child to play in the hockey game, you can email the carnival organizers.
