If you’ve ever wanted to be in a movie, you’ll have a chance to play a German soldier later this month.
Kolo Productions, an Ottawa-based film studio, is shooting a short film about World War II called “Scheldt.”
Scenes are being shot in Kemptville, Merrickville and Ottawa, and as part of the production, the company is recruiting some people to play members of the German army as background extras.
Participants won’t be paid but will have meals provided on the day of filming. The extras are needed in Kemptville on May 21st, Ottawa on May 22nd, and Merrickville on the 27th and 28th.
