Mobile spay/neuter clinics coming to Kemptville this August

An Ottawa-based charity is giving North Grenville residents a new way to get their cats spayed or neutered in a few weeks.

Adopt Me Cat Rescue, an organization that re-homes stray and abandoned cats in rural areas, is hosting the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (SPCA) “Mobile Animal Wellness Services” clinic in August.

The service was launched by the Ontario SPCA in 2019, to help pet owners in underserved communities get wellness checks and spay and neuter appointments for their animals.

The clinic is being hosted at the Ferguson Forest Centre in Kemptville on August 6th and 7th. You can find pricing information and how to book an appointment on the Adopt Me Cat Rescue Facebook page.
