Some athletes in our area will have a chance for recognition from the community this September.
Nominations are now open for induction into the Kemptville and District Sports Hall of Fame, a local organization that’s been recognizing athletes, teams and other sports figures since 2010. Nominations are being accepted until July 31st.
The Hall is also preparing for its 2022 Induction Ceremony, which will be the first since 2019. That will feature the nominees from last year, who were originally meant to be inducted last September before COVID-19 restrictions caused the ceremony to be postponed.
