The Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) OPP is investigating a reported home invasion in Winchester.
Officers were called to the home on Victoria Street shortly after 10:00pm on Saturday.
The resident was alone in the house and reports two males broke into the home and assaulted him. The culprits entered the home and removed Canadian currency from the home before they fled on foot. The resident was not seriously hurt, according to police.
The OPP Canine Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit are assisting the SD&G OPP Crime Unit with the investigation.
The attackers are described as being white males, wearing dark face coverings, and dark clothing with one male having dark hair.
