In a letter released this evening (Sept 28th), The Lanark Leeds and Grenville Health Unit have announce the closure of Holy Cross Elementary in Kemptville until at least October 5th.
The letter reads “As of September 28, 2020 there have been 3 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 associated with 3 classes and 2 buses.”
It continues by adding that high risk contacts have been notified, and that the decision to close the school was a difficult one.
The school closure will be re-assessed on October 5th.
Parents are asked to monitor for any symptoms in their children.
There are currently 11 Active cases in the Health Unit’s Region.
