Social Services Relief Fund available to Leeds and Grenville residents

A Social Services Relief Fund (SSRF) is available to households in Leeds and Grenville.

According to the Employment and Education Centre, the fund is intended to support people at risk of homelessness, low-income households and people who are unemployed because of COVID-19.

The fund is only accessible once per household unless there is an exceptional circumstance.

To be eligible the household must reside in Leeds and Grenville, the applicant must explore other options like EI Benefits, CERB, Federal assistance and other available programs. The client must be impacted directly by COVID-19 and expenses must be incurred after March 1st 2020.

The SSRF can help with rent, utility costs, personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies, delivery/travel costs and food for those self-isolating.
