Meet the first baby born at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) in 2020. Leo Garrah arrived at 7:08am on January 1.
He is the first child of Joëlle Carpentier and Tristan Garrah, who recently moved to Osgoode. Leo was delivered by midwife Jennifer Pawlett.
Tristan says the WDMH came highly recommended by Joëlle’s cousin. He noted it was a fantastic experience.
The family went home several hours later, armed with a care package from the WDMH nurses, including blankets, outfits and bibs for Leo.
