Local bylaw officer and volunteer firefighter James Petersen is being laid to rest. Petersen passed away suddenly at the end of September. Visitation is set for tonight at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. It runs from 5:00 to 8:00pm.Â
The funeral is being held tomorrow at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, starting at 11:00am. The North Grenville Fire Service is providing an honour guard and will escort the funeral procession.  Â
Municipal offices will be closed between 10:45am to 1:00pm tomorrow. The north parking lot of the municipal centre will be inaccessible between 9:00am to 1:00pm.
