Update: Severe Thunderstorm Watch ended
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the area.
Environment Canada has issued the watch and says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. Those thunderstorms may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Environment Canada says isolated thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and could produce winds of 90 km/h and hail of up to 2 centimeters.
Environment Canada says you should continue to monitor alerts and forecasts it issues.
