Kaci Culbert owned the podium at the Special Olympics Youth Games. The grade 8 student at St. Michael Catholic High School came home with two silver medals and one gold. The Special Olympics was held last week in Toronto.
Culbert says she won gold in standing long jump, silver in the 50 meter run and silver in shot put. She says competing was really fun.
This is the second year Culbert has graced the podium at the Special Olympics. She plans on heading back next year to add to her growing collection of medals.
