A former CFL player and current Ottawa police officer has been charged with harrassment. 42-year-old Constable Jason Mallett was arrested October 10th for stalking a woman. Mallett became a member of the Ottawa Police Service in 2005 after playing in the Canadian Football League for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Edmonton Eskimos. Raised in Orleans, Mallett also played football for Carleton University. Mallett has been suspended with pay.
