RBC in Kemptville is holding a fundraising bake sale. Every dollar will go to Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary. The local rescue is struggling to heat its barns, which house about 120 animals currently.
Donations of baked goods are being accepted tomorrow. The sale is set for Thursday. It runs from 9:00am to 8:00pm at the branch.
Organizer Miranda Martin says cash donations for the cause are already rolling in from people who can’t make the sale. She says there’s no goal in mind, just whatever the bank can bring in for Big Sky.
