St. Paul’s hosting free pizza party, gingerbread house decorating contest

St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Kemptville invites the public to a special event. The church is holding a pizza party and gingerbread house decorating contest Friday night. The event is open to the whole community. It kicks off at 6:00pm.

Church School Superintendent Corina Blondin says it’s a free event geared towards families. She says the school church sponsors the event annually.

Each participant will get a gingerbread house, made by church volunteers, to decorate. Prizes will be handed out to the two best houses in each age group.

Blondin says there’s no admission, but the church is accepting free will donations of non-perishable food items and cash for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

People are asked to contact Blondin if they plan on attending to ensure there are enough gingerbread houses for everyone. She can be reached by calling 613-715-3049 or emailing [email protected].
