The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212 in Kemptville lost it’s president. Marilyn Aldus passed away on November 11.
The legion posted the following on social media: ‘Comrades, please keep her husband, Stephen Rawlins in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Yours in Comradeship. Lest we Forget.’
Aldus was appointed legion president on June 1.
Deputy Mayor Barb Tobin extended sympathy to friends and family of Aldus during the council meeting held last night. Mayor David Gordon says her death came as a shock.
