Parents for Children’s Mental Health is offering peer support. The organization is running a drop-in program for parents who have children with mental health challenges. The program is completely free and open to anyone.
Chapter leader Bruno Jung-Millen says the organization tries to reach out to parents and caregivers of children and youth with mental health issues to facilitate peer support.
The drop-in program runs the last Monday of each month at the Kemptville Youth Centre. The next one is set for November 26 from 1:00 to 6:00pm.  Â
Jung-Millen says the organization helps parents and caregivers dealing with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, developmental trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and addictions.
He says it’s a non-judgemental forum and people can remain anonymous. Registration is not required. For more information, click here.Â
