The public is invited to a screening of Food Evolution. The event, organized by Sustainable North Grenville, is being held Thursday night at Grenville Mutual Insurance. The movie starts at 7:00pm. There is no cost to attend.
Member Jeff Goodman says the film takes an unbiased look at Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s). He says the movie focuses on science and covers both sides of the GMO debate.
The Scott Hamilton Kennedy film is narrated by Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
Goodman says the film covers everything, including how GMO’s were used to save entire crops of papaya.
