The Kemptville 73’s are heading into the season confident. The local Junior ‘A’ team took part in the CCHL Showcase over the weekend and walked away with a 3-0 finish.
The 73’s team was one of three to secure the maximum six points available. Head Coach Jeff Jordan says the showcase was a great way to start the season.
The home opener is set for tomorrow night at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. The 73’s hit the ice at 7:30pm. They face off against another 3-0 team – the Hawkesbury Hawks.
Jordan says the team is looking exceptional this year and all 23 players are working well together.
