The September 24th BR&E reception was a resounding success with over 200 local business owners in attendance. Keynote speaker Pierre Cleroux, Chief Economist with the Business Development Bank of Canada spoke about emerging trends that small and medium business owners need to follow to be successful, including Online Comparison Shopping, Health Consciousness, the Canadian Advantage and Personal Customization of Products on a mass scale.
North Grenville Director of Planning and Development Forbes Symon gave an update on the economic development forecast of the area, and announced that the landmark business Tallman Truck Centre will expand and move its Kemptville location to property beside Grenville Mutual Insurance in the Colonnade business park.
