Kemptville Bluefins wrap up season with three first place finishes

The Kemptville Bluefins took home gold medals from three swim meets this year. The Bluefins wrapped up the 2018 season with first place finishes at competitions in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal, Manotick and Chesterville. Coach Brett Scott says the junior and senior teams practice daily to get ready for the swim meets.

The Bluefins can also boast two second place finishes and a third place finish. Scott says one of the Bluefins is now swimming competitively for Nepean and others are being scouted.

A total of 91 swimmers are part of the Bluefins team, ranging in age from five to 16. The swimmers competed in five different events and two relays at each swim meet. For more information about the Kemptville Bluefins, check out the team’s Facebook page.
