The O’Farrell Financial Book Fair will bring in dollars for the Kemptville Youth Centre (KYC). The event kicks off this Friday at 10:00am. The fair runs all weekend at the Ferguson Forest Centre, beginning at 8:00am on Saturday and 9:00am on Sunday. Books are $2 each or 25 cents for kids books.
Board Chair Jennifer Franssen says there will be a selection of brand new book available that were donated to the KYC.
There are over 30,000 books up for grabs. The book fair is a major fundraiser for the KYC and brings in about $20,000 annually. Franssen says every dollar is put towards the KYC’s mortgage and youth programming.
