Window sticker campaigns at three local businesses brought in dollars for Kemptville & District Home Support. Jonsson’s Independent, B & H Grocer and Rona collected donations for the local organization, which currently serves over 700 seniors. Executive Director Susan Smith says a board member came up with the idea.
The money from the window sticker campaigns, which ran throughout June, will go directly towards services. The campaigns brought in about $2,000 for Kemptville & District Home Support. Smith says donations are essential.
The organization offers a wide variety of services to local seniors, including Meals On Wheels, Diners’ Club, friendly visiting, telephone reassurance and transportation to appointments. For more information about Kemptville & District Home Support, click here.
