Need your car washed? Krown Kemptville is holding a fundraising car wash this Saturday in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. The event kicks off at 10:00am. Franchise Owner Craig Gerlach says its a company wide initiative.
The event runs until 2:00pm at Krown Kemptville, located on Van Buren Street. The cost is $10 and 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to the charity. Gerlach says all the costs are covered.
This is the third year Krown Kemptville has run a charity car wash and the local business brings in about $1,000 each year. The Children’s Wish Foundation grants wishes to kids aged 3 to 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The organization has helped over 25,000 children in the past 30 years.
