The students and staff at St. Michael Catholic High School lined the halls to honour retiring Community Safety Officer Cathy Lindsey. The Hall Rally was held this afternoon. Constable Lindsey has been an OPP officer since 1988 and is set to retire in three months. She has served as the Community Safety Officer for Grenville County for years. Principal Tracy O’Brien says Constable Lindsey has made strides for female officers.
Constable Lindsey was presented a St. Mike’s sweatshirt with her name on the shoulder as a keepsake from the school. Lindsey says the community partnerships is what she will miss most.
