Liberal candidate David Henderson wants more services for rural communities

Brockville Mayor David Henderson hopes to represent Leeds-Grenville in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The Liberal candidate says the provincial economy is headed in the right direction.

Henderson says his main priority is investing in essential services like healthcare and economic projects, such as the St. Lawrence corridor. He says a dollar invested today can lead to significant savings down the road. Henderson says cutting back on services to cut costs is not the answer. Henderson says the riding is perfectly positioned for growth.

The provincial election is June 7 and the MyKemptvilleNow newsroom will be talking to all the Leeds-Grenville provincial candidates this week to help you make an informed decision on voting day. Libertarian candidate Bill Buckley declined to be interviewed. To find out if you’re registered to vote, visit elections.on.ca.

An all-candidates meeting will be held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on May 31 at 7:00pm.
