The Kemptville Farmers’ Market is gearing up for its first run of the season. The market opens this Sunday in the B&H Grocer parking lot. This will be the first market of the season and a grand opening is set for June 3. Past chair John Barclay says the market has grown in recent years.
The market has about 40 regular vendors and 15 occasional vendors. A total of 24 markets are set for this year with the season finishing up at the end of October. Barclay says the move from Riverside Park has made a huge difference.
The market opens at 12 noon and closes at 4:00pm. Visit the Kemptville Farmers’ Market Facebook page for more information.
