Kemptville resident Robert Noseworthy is one of the troupe of cyclists who will Ride the Rideau this Saturday in support of cancer research. Signposts have already begun to spring up along County Road 18, marking the route that will take cyclists 100 kilometres round trip from Ottawa to Kemptville and back again along the Rideau River. In just four years, Ride the Rideau has raised more than $6.4 million for cancer research at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, making it the most successful single-day cancer fundraiser in Eastern Ontario.
