The Municipality of North Grenville is hoping you’ll help make our community a little bit nicer.
Pitch-in Canada week is coming up from April 22nd to the 29th. The goal is for people to volunteer some time to pick up garbage in a small area in their community and make it more beautiful and clean.
Deputy-Mayor Barb Tobin says the municipality will even provide bags for the event.
Tobin says there’s also a benefit to registering for the event.
Pitch-In Canada is a national, community-based organization with volunteers that believe that maintaining a quality environment and encouraging civic pride is everyone’s responsibility.
