Environment Canada has issued a Wind Warning for our region.
The organization says it expects wind gusts of up to 90 kilometers per hour today. Those winds are expected to reach the area in the early afternoon. Environment Canada says the winds should calm down tonight.
Residents are being told to watch for loose objects tossed around by the gusts, according to the organization. It says that power outages are also a possibility.
