North Grenville will be getting more than expected for Main Street Revitalization Funding.
The funding, which was announced in January, was originally supposed to be just under $50,000. However, the municipality will now be receiving just over $52,000 from the province for main street projects.
While the funding comes from the government, it’s being administered by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, meaning over 400 municipalities will now get 4% more than what was announced in January.
The funding can be used on projects like signage, streetscape improvements or marketing plan implementation.
