The Burritts Rapids Swing Bridge closure has been postponed.
Originally scheduled to be shut down for repairs today it has been announced by Parks Canada that the bridge is now expected to be closed on February 5th. The contractor responsible for the repairs is completing work on the temporary pedestrian crossing, and other necessary preparations, before the bridge can be closed.
Parks Canada is thanking the Burritts Rapids community for their patience and understanding as the work is being completed.
