You can stop by Winchester United Church later this week and grab a new book while supporting the community.
House of Lazarus is hosting a charity book sale on October 20th and 21st. All proceeds from the event will go toward House of Lazarus outreach programs or the food bank. Operations manager with House of Lazarus Jennifer Tenbult says there will be over 15,000 books on sale.
Event hours are 4:00pm until 9:00pm Friday and 10:00am to 3:00pm Saturday. After noon on Saturday books will be sold by the bag for $2.50.
