Thursday is Terry Fox day for the Upper Canada District School Board.
Schools across the region will hold their Terry Fox run to help raise money for cancer research. The event also helps raise awareness about the impact cancer has on communities while preserving Terry Fox’s legacy for future generations.
With the unusually high temperatures recently parents are reminded to make sure their children wear light clothing and pack lots of water on race day.
