North Grenville has a new Fire Chief.
The Municipality says John Okum has accepted the position of Fire Chief as well as Director of Emergency and Protective Services.
Okum brings 28 years of experience to the job. He began his career in Arnprior as a volunteer firefighter and was appointed Fire Chief in 2010.
CAO Brian Carré says his years of experience and knowledge will prove invaluable to the organization.
Okum’s first day will be on June 12th.
