MP Gord Brown has announced new funding for Kemptville and District Home Support.
KDHSI has received over $13,000 to purchase furniture and computers to engage seniors in the community as mentors by teaching other seniors how to use them. That mentoring would include email and Skype.
Brown says the grant comes from the New Horizons program. He says the program is there to offer funding for seniors organizations to develop programming for the community and its members.
