It’s time to nominate a deserving resident for a North Grenville 2017 Civic Award.
The North Grenville Civic Awards Advisory Committee has put the call out for nominations of people and groups that volunteer in the community.
Committee Chair and Deputy-Mayor Barb Tobin says it’s important to have these awards to recognize individuals that make a difference.
There’s six categories including arts and culture, exemplary work in the community and environment. There’s also three age groups for each of the categories. Those include youth, adults and seniors.
Nomination packages are available at the Municipal Centre, the public libraries, and online at www.northgrenville.ca. The deadline is Friday, April 28th at 5:00pm.
