While there hasn’t been a large snowfall, snow and ice can still create potential problems for homeowners.
When the vents for the home’s furnace, water heater or clothes dryer are blocked, they can’t necessarily work properly. Intakes are needed to help the equipment operate and the exhaust hole must be kept clear to allow dangerous gases to be expelled.
It’s important you check the pipes on the outside of your home every so often, especially after a winter storm or windy conditions.
