The North Grenville Committee of the Whole has heard the municipal report on the proposed off-leash dog park, and they are recommending that council approve it. The proposal involves a two-acre parcel of unused land that would be sublet from the Ferguson Forest Centre.
A group would be formed to raise funds for fencing and they would govern themselves. A request has been made to keep the road to the park cleared in winter so users can access it year-round. The Committee has recommended that item be added to 2017 budget deliberations.
